I had this rant all ready to be published about haters who try and find crap to say about others to make themselves feel better about themselves... blah blah blah... just a few things popped up yesterday that bothered me. But I just deleted all of that after seeing this video.
I usually don't click on Facebook videos because 9 out of 10 times, it's a virus, some type of spam or malware, etc. Just not interested. But I saw this one going around for a couple of days... and today, I decided to click on it. I'm sooo glad I did. Totally changed my perspective in many things.
Instead of ranting about crappy people today... I'm writing about someone who deserved to be acknowledged in the good he has attained even after being given CRAP from a very young age. This kid was given a horrible hand... but he surely played his cards well. Instead of concentrating on the negative, and feeling sorry for himself, and blaming everyone for his circumstances, it's like he stood there - and accepted what the world has given to him.
He paid attention. He learned by watching, listening, and practicing. In his worst moments, given a horrible hand in life - he learned to sing and sing beautifully. You and I know, this kid has just changed his life by appearing in this show. I wish him well. I wish him more blessings. I wish he learns to smile more as he needs to realize by sharing his life and talent (and he kept saying "he does not sing well") to the world, I am sure as he did to me, he has touched a lot of people's lives. Because of him, I will be nicer today... haha!
And all it took was 8:02 minutes.
